Just spent 3 hours planning stuff for our youth group for next year with the other coordinators. I'm grateful to have the breathing space to discuss the year that's been and look forward to the coming year. I'm thankful for the time to plan things out properly and for calendars and lists and spreadsheets (yes, I am an engineer, I love spreadsheets).

...living so close to so many beautiful places.

Visited a waterfall today that was a 15min drive and 20min walk from home. Tassie is actually a spectacular place to live.

...the beautiful weather.

It's always a bit risky, planning an outside youth event. But the weather this evening was amazing and all the kids had fun running around in the park. I am exhausted!

When delicious and ethical collide, that is good coffee.

...an extra hour to sleep!

One of the great things about Thursdays is that I leave home an hour later than Wednesdays, so it kinda feels like a sleep in :)

...mentors.

I don't have a photo for this one, because I figured it might be a tad awkward taking a photo of my work mentor when we met up this morning. I am thankful for her experience and wisdom though, and she's brilliant at preventing/calming my minor freak outs.

...Sunday roast.

Amongst silly elimination diets, I am thankful that I can still cook a Sunday roast. Deliciousness in chicken form, with leftovers for tomorrow :)

...good weather for laundry.

Who needs an actual tv when you can stream all the quality tv shows you want? It's nice to have an evening off.

Occasionally frustrating, but discussion and democracy is incredibly important. I am thankful to live in a society where my voice can be heard.

I forgot my house keys this morning. Thankfully, I just got my car keys back so I could have a nap while I waited for my housemate to finish work :)

I am thankful for a fun weekend in Melbourne, but goodness, tourist-ing is exhausting!

I may complain when they're late, but actually I am thankful to have buses. Cheaper than parking in town all day, perfect for when my car's at the mechanics.
